Pictures Are Only Pictures

Pictures Are Only Pictures

I've been thinking a lot lately about how much influence others have on our lives. Sometimes I don't even think we realize the impact others have on the decisions we make each and every day. When you look on Facebook, Instagram, or any other social media network, it seems that we all live perfect lives. But, that's the thing we only see what the camera shows us. We can't see what is truly going on in that persons life. This can bring judgement, jealousy, and attacks against others. I think we have lost a lot our true connection to we have to each other.  I'm not saying by any means that I don't look on Facebook, and think "Wow, I wish I looked like that". However, I've come to see that no one has it perfect, no matter how perfect the pictures look. They are that pictures, just like a movie is a movie. Don't get me wrong there are actually true pictures out there that represent that person's life. The thing is we really don't know for sure what is real, unless we have personal contact with that person.

I can't help but ask myself, why do I feel the need to always look my best, always seem happy, when it's just not true. I think society in general has us thinking that we have to live up to certain standards, otherwise we are not worthy. This has cost no many problems with the younger generation. They look, really look, and want to be like the beautiful model with the flawless face, and have all of the newest and most expensive things. But, a majority of people can't afford those things, and as to the beautiful faces,  Photoshop does wonders, so what you see isn't always what is reality.

So, what I'm saying is to take a moment next time and think these are just photographs, words written, and know that in reality you don't know the whole story. Next time you start to judge someone stop and think, how you would feel if someone was picking you apart. We truly can't know what it is like to walk in someone else's shoes. We just need to be careful to not let social media control our thoughts about ourselves, and what we do, or don't have.

With summer just around the corner, I like to have a bottle that keeps my water cold while swimming, or going on a hike.
I was asked to test the Liquid Savvy's Insulated Bottle. When I first opened it I thought it looked just like most bottles do. But, upon further inspection I found that some of the features stood out among other brands.

The pros include the following;
**Holds 18 oz of liquids
**Insulated with stainless steel
**Comes with 3 different lid types
- Flip Top Lid
- Integrated Carabiner Lid
- Tethered Multi-Purpose Lid
**Each lid stays sealed
**Keeps Cold Drinks Cold
**Keeps Warm Drinks Warm

Cons;
**Not dishwasher safe
**The shape is wider, but fits in my cup holder
**It looks plain, doesn't have much style to it.

This is my opinion of the Liquid Savvy's Insulated 18 oz Bottle. Overall it keeps your drinks cold, or hot depending on the drink. I like my bottles to thinner and taller in style. You can checkout this product out further at http://www.liquidsavvy.com

Search For The Perfect Concealer

I know a lot of women wake up to dark circles under their eyes, me included. So in 2015 it was my goal to find a concealer that would cover the dark circles. I found many that covered the under eye darkness, but they all seemed to be making my wrinkle more noticeable.

So, then I really wanted to find that perfect concealer, that covered under eye darkness, without making my wrinkles more noticeable. If was during my search, and trying a numerous amount of concealer's, that I began to notice a common link that caused my wrinkles to show more.

The texture, and thickness of the concealer made a difference in how much my wrinkles showed up, and the under eye darkness. The thicker concealer's where great for covering darkness under the eyes, however, my wrinkles were more noticeable. It was because the concealer was staying in my wrinkles, instead of just covering them. The thinner concealer didn't cover darkness under my eyes but, it concealed my wrinkles a lot better then the thicker concealer's did.

So I was even more determined to find a concealer that could cover my darkness, and wrinkles both. About a month ago, I finally found the concealer that covered both of my problems.
That concealer was Urban Decay Naked Skin Weightless Complete Coverage Concealer.

Urban Decay Naked Skin Weightless Complete Coverage Concealer, is amazing at covering imperfections, while not giving you the caked makeup look. I feel like this concealer looks as if I don't even have it on. It works so well because of is lightweight formula, that is buildable, without becoming to thick. It blends into the skin so easy. This concealer can be used on any age group, and comes in a wide range of colors from fair to dark. However, this is a pricy concealer. I purchased mine online through Sephora for $28. I believe you get what you pay for, so I'm willing to spend more on a good product that works, then a cheap one that doesn't work how I want it to. That's the key, we each have our own qualities we look for in makeup, so what works great for me, might not work for you.

Cute Multi Task Clips

I Wonder Clips 50 Pack All Purpose Clips to review. They are great for sewing, crafts, or in place of a paperclip. They come in a round plastic case which includes 50 clips. The clips come in 5 vibrant colors. I used them to hold my material while putting a flat pin in my material, when sewing. The Wonder Clips made it so much easier, while preventing a stick to the finger. I also use them at work to clip papers together.
Disclaimer; I received this in exchange for my honest review.

Hair Chalk Fun At Any Age

This is a little something different I received in exchange for my honest review. Even though I'm not a kid I still like having fun like one. This hair chalk set is fun to mix and match colors.

My friend and I sent an evening doing our hair, and her daughters hair. This sent comes with 24 vibrant colors of hair chalk. I applied 3 colors to my hair Pink, Blue, and green. It is extremely easy to do. Just get the piece of hair you want to color and dampen it, then twist the chalk around your hair to desired darkness. If you want it to stay in longer you can run a flat iron through it after you are done. This washes out with soap, and doesn't damage your hair like chemical color does.

This would make a great Christmas gift for most girls. I would recommend it to anyone wanting to have a hair change but We are never to old to be a kid at heart. So, have fun and don't worry about your age. What do you think of the colors in this Hair Chalk kit? If you share your thoughts include the hashtag. Check out their website at the link below. #hairchalk
